The Ilan-Lael Foundation is a non-profit public-benefit corporation whose mission of is to explore the
arts through engagement with nature, be a catalyst for positive changes in the world, make available
to the public the extraordinary house created by James and Anne Hubbell, and to honor and further
their legacy.
The Foundation pursues the Hubbell legacy by maintaining Ilan-Lael, the place, as a center for
arts, education, and culture, and carrying forward James Hubbell’s visionary work on projects
like Pacific Rim Park, art and nature education programs, exhibitions, and collaborations with
community partners here and abroad.
