The presence of the Emerald Gate seems to rest in the background of my consciousness.
One only partially grasps the personal journey into a new world, which often requires a painful death of parts of oneself and one’s beliefs. I imagine the feeling of death and hope of resurrection is not uncommon among my fellow humans.
Perhaps the thing is to sit quietly and give thanks for the endless gifts, for music, for the feel of a pen or a sheet of paper, for the light on the mountains, and for friends, those of you I know and those of you I will never know.
Just as those who have gone before stood by as I have tried my hand at life, I will give you my heart to walk together over the amazing boulders life is always placing in our path.
To the adventure of life!
