Hubbell Hill Was Alive With Celebration

For The Harvest Moon Dinner

Harvest Moon was an amazing success!

The evening was alive with celebration as we gathered with friends for Ilan-Lael’s annual Harvest Moon Dinner—sipping local wines and beers, experiencing  art created by some of the areas most acomplished artists, listing to poetry and live music, and feasting on a delicious pallea dinner. Low clouds obsured the moon rise, but didn’t quell the lively and generous spirit of the evening. In fact, we are happy to report that this year’s Harvest Moon event has been our most successful, raising $41,000 for the James Hubbell Memorial Art Fund. Thank you everyone!

Harvest Moon introduced the Ilan-Lael’s 2024 Visiting Artists Program with an exhibit of works by the inaugural class of Visiting Artist Fellows. These artists were chosen because they embody James Hubbell’s values of nature appreciation, sincerity, and art’s impact on our world. Their works will soon go on exhibit at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery October 1- 27, then, at the Union Hall Gallery in San Diego, November 1st – December 1st. A portion of the proceeds of all art sales goes to support the James Hubbell Memorial Art Fund.
