Garrett Goodwin is a San Diego native and a full-time artist whose work is deeply rooted in the philosophy of organic, community-driven art. Operating from his San Diego studio, Garrett channels the spirit of James Hubbell by blending diverse materials—including metal, wood, paint, recycled materials, concrete, tile, and glass—into cohesive, nature-inspired structures. A 2009 Studio Arts graduate from the University of Hawaii, his career has been an extraordinary adventure dedicated to creating beautiful, hand-crafted works that bridge the gap between human creativity and the natural world. Garrett’s dedication to collaborative, soul-infused art found its perfect realization through his extensive involvement with the Pacific Rim Park Projects.
