Glass Mosaic Expression Workshop

This day-long workshop will focus on the tools, materials, and basic methods of glass mosaic creation, although all skill levels are welcome. Participants will be exploring stained glass and glass tile cutting techniques all while creating their own individual artwork. Each student will get to choose between creating an exclusively mosaic work or a mosaic mirror. James Hubbell’s mosaic art throughout the Ilan-Lael Foundation grounds will provide endless inspiration while students discover their inner artist in the serenity of the Julian mountains. A mosaic-centered tour of the property is included to kick off the day, followed by hours of art-making with an array of colorful and unique glass materials to choose from. Finding and trusting your inner artist through creative expression will be goal of the day!
