Marianne Gerdes
Marianne Gerdes is a communications specialist with extensive experience in television, print and public relations. As Executive Director, she translates ideas into tangible expressions, by managing programs and events from inception through completion, managing large and complex budgets, and fundraising for idea-based projects. Marianne served as a Board Member for Ilan-Lael prior to her transfer to the Executive Director position. Marianne is one of the founding members of the James and Anne Hubbell Endowment, and has been actively involved in fundraising for Ilan-Lael since the Endowment’s inception. With a mandate is to professionalize operations and increase its fundraising reach, the Foundation is steadily growing and expanding into a vital arts education force in the southern California region.
